When you create an account or use SNPIT, we may collect:

• Account information. Name, email, and hashed password when you register.
• OAuth providers. When you sign in with Google, GitHub, Discord, or Apple, we receive your name, email, and profile picture. We do not access contacts, repositories, servers, or any other data from those providers.
• Usage analytics. Anonymized feature usage and event tracking via self-hosted Umami analytics. No personally identifiable information is shared with third parties.
• AI usage. When you use AI Vision, your screenshot is sent to our AI server for processing. Screenshots are not stored after the session ends and are not used to train models.
• Payment information. Processed securely via Stripe. We never store credit card numbers on our servers.

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the SNPIT application and services.
• Manage your account and subscription.
• Process payments and send transaction-related communications.
• Send product updates and important service announcements (you may opt out).
• Analyze usage patterns to improve features and user experience.

Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption. We use HTTPS for all data transmission, bcrypt for password hashing, and follow security best practices for API authentication.

SNPIT processes screenshots entirely on your local device. Your images are never uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly choose to use the "Publish to Cloud" feature.

We integrate with the following third-party services:

• Authentication providers. Google, GitHub, Discord, Apple OAuth. We receive only basic profile information (name, email, avatar). Subject to each provider's privacy policy.
• Stripe. Payment processing. We do not store credit card details. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Cloud CDN. Storage and delivery for published screenshots. Hosted by a reputable infrastructure provider on our managed CDN.
• Umami Analytics. Self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics. No cookies, no personal data shared with third parties.
• AI processing. AI Vision and AI regex generation are processed on our self-hosted AI infrastructure. Your data is not sent to third-party AI providers and is not used for model training.

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your personal information at any time from your dashboard.
• Export your account data in a machine-readable format.
• Opt out of non-essential communications and analytics.
• Request complete account deletion by contacting us.

We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and applicable data protection regulations.

Our website uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of SNPIT after changes constitutes acceptance.
